There are many trail riding and trekking options on the farm, and through the Slieve Bloom Mountains which can be tailored for any level of rider. Birr Equestrian Centre offer a wide of facilities, we are open all year with adult lessons on Wed and Thurs nights. We cater for tourists, pre-booked lessons or walk-ins (depending on availability). At the Equestrian Centre we currently have 20 horses and 20 ponies; with an outdoor arena of 180' x 80' and an indoor arena of 160' x 60'. We offer changing room and shower room facilities as well as a range of equipment.
